St. Elizabeth's Institute of Health Professionals (SELIHEP) is a programme of Mukono Community Health Initiative (MUCHI) a registered non-government organization in Uganda dealing in Primary Health Care Service delivery (PHC) at grass root levels.
MUCHI has a memorandum of understanding with the government of the Republic Of Uganda, through the Ministry of Health, as a partner of Primary health Care service delivery, which among other things allows to do their practical training in all government hospitals and health facilities throughout the country.

The Institute is licensed by the Ministry of Education and sports and is recognized by the Ministry of Health through the Allied Health Professionals' Council (AHPC). View our fees Structure - Click.

Preparations are underway to introduce a diploma course in Pharmacy.

Admission for 2012/2013 academic year is ongoing at Mukono-Uganda, East Africa. Applicants with qualifications from abroad have to first be equated by Uganda National Examination Board (UNEB) or by a Professional council in Uganda relative to their qualifications.

Clinical and medical laboratory students examine and analyze cells, and body clinically. They look for bacteria, and other microorganisms; they analyze the chemical content of fluids; match blood for transfusions; which show how a patient is responding to treatment.
